Being pregnant has brought my connections, sensitivity and nurturing to a whole other level.

Make your relationships great in 2011

We are always in relationships. Whether it be the people we work with, the people we live with, our children, pets but most importantly we are in a relationship with OURSELVES. Sadly it breaks my heart to know that a lot of us do not have great and loving relationships with ourselves, we are always critisizing US for not doing this better, trying harder at this, telling ourselves that we only deserve good things if we are good (what ever good is).

Have you ever listened close enough to notice what that voice is saying? I want you to just stop for a moment and ask your self what is it Im feeling? Is it peaceful? I’m gonna let you in on some truth and that is when ever we are not experiencing peace it is because we are believing something about ourselves, that is unloving. Innocently we do this all the time, I am guilty of this myself. I only now have the awareness of how the mind works.

Ready for this? The truth is that You ARE safe. You ARE going to survive. You ARE perfect. You ARE loved. You ARE already, exactly where you need to be going. You ARE the best. You ARE important. You ARE special. You ARE noticed. You ARE beautiful. You are doing GREAT. You ARE successful and how do I know this? Because to believe anything less brings me pain and suffering, feeling depressed and beat up not to mention resentful and looking for others to blame. Another truth is that we are all searching and wanting the same thing and that is to be loved, no matter what we do or say. We are all asking to be loved in some way and are asking from this space of not loving, “us”. So what I am suggesting is that every time you catch yourself saying anything negative; immediately in your head or, out loud, say three things that you know you ARE good at, and to be true (this HAS to feel true, without any sarcasm, like lightness in your body), you could even write this down on a piece of paper. For example, here are a few things I know to be true about me, ”I’m great at organizing”, “I’m great at cleaning”, and “I love that I can put a scrapbook page together in no time”.

This my dear friend is how you change your self talk and begin a loving relationship with your self, and from this space other loving relationships will grow. So ya ready for transformation? why not try it?

Remembering Truth

Life is a remembering of our intrinsic truth, beauty and goodness. All suffering comes from forgetfulness. When we forget who we really are, we become afraid of experiences and emotions so we resist “what is” or “what might be” and in this resistance, suffering is created. Wake up and Remember Yourself- this is the only true healing.
